Lambs Creek Social Series Saturdays - beginning April 17th
Come join the fun at the Pioneer Grill and Saloon on our recently enhanced disc golf course.
Each Saturday, beginning April 17th, at 5pm will be Random Draw Doubles especially designed for players of all skill levels. Cost of the league is $3; which goes toward Pioneer gift certificates for raffles and prizes. There is a $1 optional fee for the ace pool, which will start at $25 and will grow and carry over to the next week (if there are no hole-in-ones). Ace pool is currently at $38. Aces Wild!
Random Draw Doubles Best Disc
This is a laid back good time for disc golfers of all skill to have fun and win prizes. Random draw doubles pairs you up with a partner at random. Each partner throws their disc and then together determines the best lie to throw from next, repeating until they hole out. Each throw counts as a stroke. The team with the fewest strokes takes first place. Weekly raffles and prizes will be awarded in the form of Pioneer gift certificates for you to enjoy at the watering hole!
The cost of the league is $3, which goes directly towards raffles and prizes. Example: 25 people play = $50 certificate for first place team and a $25 certificate to be raffled. An optional $1 fee will get you into the ace pool at a chance to win this weekly growing pot. The pot starts at $25 and will be updated each week here on our site (so check back often to see what your winnings will be if you get a hole-in-one!).
Stats will be recorded for end of the season trophies and posted after each session. The best 4 scores of each player count towards end of the season rankings.
Free Drinks:
There's no need to be afraid of the water...the player that finds themselves landing in the creek the most gets a free drink at the bar!
The team that finishes last wins…they each get a free drink at the bar.
If there are an odd number of players, the person playing Cali gets a free drink at the bar after league.
Additional Notes
Under 21:
Winners under the age of 21 can use their vouchers for food, non-alcoholic beverages, merchandise, etc.
Cali player:
If there's an odd # of people, the odd person out is deemed the Cali player and gets one extra throw per hole (mulligan) of his or her choice. Meaning if Johnny Hyzer throws his first drive into the creek, he can re-tee and throw again without penalty. However, he would then not be able to have an extra approach or extra putt if he misses from his mulligan. This makes the player strategize whether they want an extra drive, extra approach, extra putt, or if in the case they are parked next to the pin on the first tee shot, they would then be able to use the mulligan to go for an ace run.
